Left-click on an empty spot in space in order to move there. You can also click on a spot on the minimap or the sector map to fly there.

Left-click on a ship in order to select it. You can also press the space bar to select possible enemies or the CTRL key to select friends.

First, open the equipment window, either by left-clicking this symbol of by pressing the 'I' key. In order to equip an item on your spaceship, left-click, hold, and drag the item onto the fields which light up green, then release the button to drop the item. You can also double-click the item to have it automatically equipped in the right place. You can also double-click the item to put it back in your inventory.

Open:
a)The equipment window by left-clicking the symbol shown on the left or by pressing the 'I' key. Or, b) the skills window by left-clicking the symbol shown on the right or by pressing the 'S' key.
Drag the item / skill onto an open space in the action bar at the bottom of the screen at the centre. You can click on it there to use it. Missiles launchers must be equipped with missiles to be used. Skills must first be unlocked for you to be able to use them.

To remove a skill from the task bar, open the lock found at the left of the bar.

Look for a merchant using this blue symbol. Double-left-click on the ship. To buy an item, find it in the merchant list in the middle of the screen and left-click on the price. The money will be taken from you and the item will appear in your inventory. To sell an item, drag it out of your inventory onto the 'sell cargo' field or double-left-click on the item. You can leave the merchant by clicking the 'X' at the top-right of the merchant window.

This green symbol will help you find an NPC with a mission to be completed. Double-left-click on the ship, select a mission, and the click 'accept' to have it entered into your mission log. You can open the mission log by left-clicking on the symbol shown at the right or by pressing the 'L' button. There you will find an overview of all the missions you've accepted.

Left-click on this symbol or press the 'L' key to open the mission log. There you can turn on/off hints for the individual missions.

You can select a class starting at level 5. To do this, open the skills window by left-clicking on this symbol or by pressing the 'S' key. Check out the three classes: 'Fighter', 'Protector', and 'Engineer', and select one of them. The Fighter class is designed for attack and can inflict immense damage on his targets. The Protector is made for defence. He can draw the enemy's attacks to himself and defend himself against them. The Engineer is designed for healing/repair and support. He can repair himself and his friends, keeping them alive in battle. With each level increase, you can add one point to your skills. The earliest skills are at the top and later on these will each split into two separate paths.

There are several buttons at the top right of the screen. Click on the monitor to open the settings.

To invite players to your group, simply click on the blue plus sign that appears wen you select a friendly player. A group can consist of up to five players, and cooperative play is especially useful for difficult quests, boss fights, and public quests.

In order to participate in a public quest, fly to the appropriate area. You will recognise the area by the requests displayed under the menu bar. A public quest is designed for several players, so make sure you are not alone.

The individual sectors in Warpfire are divided into channels, which ensures that there will not be too many players in the game-world at the same time.You can change the channel using the button shown to the right of the minimap.

In order to join a clan, click on the clan button in the menu. You can use the search function there to find an already-existing clan. To create your own clan, you must have reached at least level 10.

At the log-in you can log in directly using your character name and your password. The corresponding character will then be loaded.
